Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Doorway Travel! Before using our services, we kindly ask that you carefully read and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Terms

1. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Rental Agreement

2. We require that all renters sign a rental agreement prior to renting any property managed by our company. This agreement outlines the terms of the rental, including rental rates, payment schedules, security deposits, check-in and check-out procedures, house rules and other relevant details.

Rental Payment

3.All rental payments are due in full at the time of reservation. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, or electronic bank transfer. If a reservation is canceled, the renter may be eligible for a refund based on the cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

4. Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

Security Deposit

5. A security deposit of $1,500 is required for all rental stays of 30 days or more, and is intended to cover any damage or excessive cleaning fees incurred during the rental period. The security deposit will be refunded within 14 days of the end of the rental period, provided that there is no damage or excessive cleaning required.

Check-in and Check-out

6. Check-in time is 3pm on the first date as outlined in the reservation and check-out time is 10am on the last date as outlined in the reservation. Renters are responsible for adhering to these times, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Failure to check out on time may result in additional fees.

Property Condition

7. Renters are responsible for leaving the property in the same condition it was in upon check-in. Any damage or excessive cleaning required may be deducted from the security deposit, or charged back to the card on file for the renter if no security deposit was required for the booking.

Property Use

8. Renters agree to use the property for residential purposes only. Commercial or other non-residential uses are strictly prohibited unless otherwise approved in writing by Doorway Travel.

Liability

9. Our company is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur on the property during the rental period. Renters assume all liability for their actions while on the property.

Termination

10. Our company reserves the right to terminate any rental agreement at any time, with or without cause. In the event of termination, any unused rental fees may be refunded to the renter.

Governing Law

11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or province in which the property is located.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

12. We reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice to the renter.
